Here it is, the the last episode of our Vapor Trails triptych. The final five songs are heavy with symbolism and metaphor. There's also part four of the Fear Trilogy. Hold on. *checks notes* Yup. Part four. Douglas Adams would be proud.

Freeze is my favorite song on the album, it is a great marriage between music and lyrics. As for the lyrics, it's not that known that to freeze is another option to fight or flight. It gets overlooked but is explained well in psychology as polyvagal theory. I learned about this about a year ago as a psychotherapist.

Neil must have undergone a reliving of his tragedies in the writing process of Ghost Rider as a way of grieving. I wonder if writing lyrics about his grieving process on this album served as an outlet while writing GR.
