With this episode, we enter the most interesting, creative, and imaginative phase of Rush's career. A Farewell to Kings, in our humble opinions, is about as perfect as any Rush album gets--or any album in the history of Rock. OK, maybe we gush a little too much, but can you blame us? It's A Farewell to Kings!

Didn’t read before I submitted-that was meant to Alex’s tone, not time.

As always, a very enjoyable episode. So you know, this was the only record that Alex used a solid state amplifier-H/H. Also used on the AFTK tour. Being a long time guitar player, it’s not my favorite time of Alex’s but this record is definitely one he of my favorites. I agree it’s rawer than Hemispheres which is I feel the pinnacle of their 70’s efforts. New listener and really enjoying this podcast.

You guys are hilarious, funnier with each episode and during this challenging time, a refreshing escape, like dining on honeydew. Speaking of which, I would summarize the lyrics of Xanadu as: careful what you wish for.
