The album discussed in episode 9 of Something for Nothing: A RUSH Fancast was chosen by you, our loyal listeners: Test for Echo! This is a late-career gem that didn't grab Gerry back in 1996, but sure did this time around. Steve and Gerry delve into Neil's deep commentary on the state of the world and marvel at the peerless musicianship. In other words, we listen to a RUSH album!

From listening to this episode I realize the lyrics I like the most from Neil are 9nes that offer either a new perspective, new idea or something "I can relate to." I'm not a big fan of lyrics that repeat the song title over and over like The Big Money, Driven or Half The World compared to Entre Nous, Losing It, or Resist. Having 2 songs in a row on this album with the repetitive lyrics is a turnoff But your points about the musicianship on Driven makes me want to reconsider.
