I love The Pass. Love the lyrics, the music, the rhythms. Never thought there was this deeper meaning of this lyrics. Maybe because it’s not my native language. I will listen to it again.

Only thing I can add about The Pass re suicide from Gerry's pov is how suicide is now referenced in the world of Psychology. The phrase "committed suicide" is being replaced with "die by suicide" because of the implications related to the word committing
